“M” Marks the Spot!

The M Transit is hosting its 2nd Annual Scavenger Hunt on May 24th! May 24th is National Scavenger Hunt Day, which is an annual celebration of hunting for a list of items or solving a series of clues to “win” the game.

The annual M Transit Scavenger Hunt offers an incentive for riders and encourages new participants to try out the M Transit for a chance to win a special prize. Before the hunt commences, we’ll answer a few questions you might have.

Who can participate?

To participate in the scavenger hunt, you must actively ride the M Transit on Scavenger Hunt Day. If you’ve never ridden before, no worries! Use the M’s Transloc Rider app to plan your route and get real time updates on your bus’s location.

How long will the scavenger hunt last?

The scavenger hunt will be a one-day event taking place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. All four Golden M’s will be in place before the first route of the day begins, and the hunt will end once all four Golden M’s are found.

How do I win the scavenger hunt?

Throughout the city, there are four Golden M’s hidden on four operating M Transit buses. To win the scavenger hunt, you must find and retrieve 1 of 4 Golden M’s and return it to your transit driver. The more rides you take, the higher your chances are for finding a Golden M!

What do I win?

The lucky M Transit riders who find the Golden M’s will receive up to $250 in cash and prizes!
