Find your stop: Check the route map or use the app to find your nearest stop and departure time.
Arrive early: Be at your stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Before you board, check the route number, name, and direction on the sign above the windshield.
Board and pay: Have your exact fare or pass ready. Fareboxes don’t make change. Bikes can ride on the rack on the front of the bus.
On weekdays, Route 1 runs every 60 minutes. On Saturdays, it runs every 2 hours.
Does Route 1 run on Sundays?
No. The M’s fixed-route buses operate Monday through Saturday.
Are the buses accessible?
Yes. Every M bus has a lift and is accessible to people with disabilities. Priority seats for seniors and riders with disabilities are located behind the operator.
