Before you board, check the route number, name, and direction on the sign above the windshield. 3. **Board and pay:** Have your exact fare or pass ready. Fareboxes don’t make change. On weekdays, Route 6 runs every 60 minutes. On Saturdays, it runs every 60 minutes. Does Route 6 run on Sundays? No. The M’s fixed-route buses operate Monday through Saturday. Are the buses accessible? Yes. Every M bus has a lift and is accessible to people with disabilities.
